This weekend’s Sunday newspaper should include 1 Smartsource insert, 1 Redplum insert, and 1 General Mills insert. If you check out your RedPlum insert, you should find a very high value coupon for $3 off Gain laundry product…which includes fabric softener sheets and liquid. You can generally find these priced at around $3 and various stores, which means FREE or really cheap…Family Dollar has them priced at $2.15 which means you will be able to get them for free plus overage if your store allows it!
Last Week’s Grocery Shopping Trip

This is a pic from two weeks ago, but I was uber excited about this shopping trip. I’ll basically give you a run down on what I’ve paid for these items in the pic.
I was paid 50c each to buy the peanut butter
I was paid $4.00 to buy 16 boxes of Special K cereal
I was paid to buy the pasta
The egg beaters were under $1.50 for both
$0.29 for bread
Trail Mix was free
Cheese was $2
4 Lunchables = Free
I was paid $3.00 to buy the vitamins
Smoothie mix was less than $0.50 for two packs
Oatmeal was free
8pks of Buddig’s cold cuts for $2
The only things I really paid for this week were the egg beaters, paper towels, cold cuts, pudding mix, cake mix, milk and meat. The overage was applied to my grocery bill.

We love Little Ceasar’s on a lazy day…well today was that lazy day! Every morning on the weekend we like to have our coffee on the front porch, and man it was COLD out there! My neighbor called me this morning to tell me that it snowed this morning. Yes, SNOW! And to think we moved from Connecticut to Florida to escape the snow. It was cold out, it was the day after Christmas, and we were lazy as heck! I mean really lazy, and Little Ceasar’s has a drive-thru. Perfect.
Here is a great coupon for Little Ceasar’s if you have a location near you. It’s a ‘buy one get one free’ coupon, which means you can buy a large $5 Hot and Ready 1-topping pizza, and get a second one FREE! Two pizza’s for 5 bucks…SWEET! (Price may vary by location)

Post-Christmas shopping

I’m a dork for post-Christmas shopping. My favorite time of year, is shopping after the holidays! Yep, that’s right! That’s because most stores clearance off all of their holiday items such as decorations, gift baskets, toys, etc… even children’s toys that are in holiday wrapping or boxes will be on clearance. I plan on putting any toys or gifts in the attic, and packing away any holiday decor in totes! Just think of any birthdays coming up you may want to shop for. I save sooo much money shopping the holiday clearance sales…especially when they go down to 75%-90% off! Ya never know what you can find out there. Always remember that some things aren’t necessarily screaming Christmas. For example, you might find a nice dish set in Red that fits into your every day decor! I know I had an awesome score during the post-Thanksgiving clearance when I found brown plates that went perfectly into my dining room theme!
